Team Quest
Team Quest is an academic competition designed for gifted and talented students to teach them the importance of team work. In the Team Quest program, groups of four students demonstrate their ability to work together. During the competition, teams are asked to solve problems in many areas of academic instruction. Team Quest includes activities in music, the arts, geography, language arts, science and mathematics. Teams are challenged to apply their knowledge to real life problems incorporating creativity, imagination, and engineering into the events.

The Team Quest program includes a different theme each year. All of the projects and challenges are centered on the theme. Each competition will always contain four core areas. A creative design project, an engineering project, a math challenge, a trivia challenge are always part of the competition. Other events may included the arts, music, history, geography, or physical competitions. Although the activities are centered on the four core areas, multiple curricular areas explored with a project. The theme is simply a way for the projects and challenges to be tied together in a fun way.
