Forensic Science

Everyone loves a good mystery! In this class students will be presented with a crime they must olve. Criminal science uses specific techniques to solve mysteries. This class will explore fingerprinting, tread mark analysis, chemical reactions, DNA and document study all to figure out who done it.

Science of Cooking

Monday, July 16 – Friday, July 20, 2012
8:30 am – 12:30 pm

Everyone loves to eat, but not everyone knows how to cook! This class will teach students the basics of cooking. Everyone in the class will get a hand-on experience in cooking. The instructor will cover nutrition, food/kitchen safety, and preparation techniques. Students will then cook with a theme each day. Themes will include: fun and fast snacks, healthy cooking, fun with chocolate, food that looks good, and planning a great meal. The class is designed for kids that are interested in becoming a chef, learning about food, or just eating.
